Fill up your auditorium with passion and sincerity of poetry. Ranging from 15 minutes to 60 minutes, Sheila can cultivate a set of poetry perfect for any audience! She has performed all across the United States in intimate settings of about 15 people to large crowds of about 350.

Workshops

Sheila has facilitated 60 to 90-minute educational workshops for audiences of all backgrounds. Every workshop is interactive with reading, writing, and sharing elements so those attending can get the best experience possible.

Manuscript Consultations

Writing a manuscript can be difficult, but Sheila makes sure to help her clients in the best way possible. From providing feedback on a specific part of the book to complete hands-on assistance, she can edit your manuscript, consult on book structure, and work with you until it’s the best manuscript version.

Editing

The key to any well-written piece is editing. Sheila’s preferred method of contact is face-to-face or video chat so she can educate her clients about why she is making those changes and give them the tools to be a better writer. She is well-versed in English and also has experience in copyediting.

Writing Coach

A writing coach who can get anyone to write. From college essays and applications to creative writings like poetry and fictional stories, Sheila enjoys coaching her clients who might need an extra push to be a good writer. She has mentored all age groups with different writing levels, including ESL speakers and high school students. With her prior experience working in a community college, she alleviates anxiety and creates a stress-free zone for her clients.

Emcee/Hosting

Poets make for the greatest hosts! Sheila can entertain a crowd, whether facilitating a small event, a conference, or an open mic. She loves to consider her space and evaluate the voices that go unheard. She adapts well to whoever her audience is, including university students or corporate professionals.
